Prof. Ajit Singhvi, an Indian-born philanthropist and management expert based in London, is renowned for his contributions in academia and corporate leadership. Dr. Singhvi holds degrees from Harvard Business School, Manchester Business School, Middlesex University's School of Engineering, Japan Institute of Plant Management, Ashridge Management College, Institute of Chartered Accountants, and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He collaborated closely with the late American economist Professor David A. Garvin at Harvard Business School.
Prof. Singhvi has made substantial contributions to education and women's empowerment in India. His philanthropic efforts include endowing professorial chairs at prestigious institutions across the country. He has championed the concept of Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) as a contemporary extension of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), aimed at fostering philanthropic activities within society. Prof. Singhvi has also authored a book titled ‘Alphabet of Management & Transformation’. At LIBA, Prof. Ajit Singhvi Micro Centre for Good Governance was inaugurated during BEACON – the Annual Business Ethics Conference of LIBA on 8th February 2019 by Mr. Jochen Tewes, Founder, Inter-Mission Industrial Development Association.
